Why Nexaforge Uses Escrow
Understanding the purpose and benefits of escrow for both clients and Taskmasters.
Step-by-Step Guide
Protecting Both Parties
Escrow means payment is held by a neutral third party (our regulated payment processor) until the work is completed. Clients never pay for incomplete work, and Taskmasters are guaranteed payment for work done.
Preventing Fraud
Direct cash payments or personal transfers carry risk — either party could be cheated. Escrow eliminates this risk by keeping funds secure until both sides fulfill their obligations.
Enabling Dispute Resolution
If a disagreement arises, the payment stays in escrow while Nexaforge reviews evidence from both parties. This ensures a fair process where funds aren't released prematurely.
Helpful Tips
- Escrow is mandatory for all bookings — it's a core safety feature of the platform.
- If a Taskmaster asks for cash or direct transfer, report them immediately.
